Question for BFJ, Guru, and other Slider Makers

I am still having a hard time figuring out when, how, and how often to use the left analog stick when hitting. Could you guys explain to me how you guys are having good hitting results with your sliders. Every time I use the left analog stick, it turns into 27 pop outs a game. Please, please explain to me in detail when and how to use the left analog stick. Thanks

I use it exclusively when I get a pitch coming up and in. I've usually got a good chance to drive the ball on those pitches, but again nothing is guaranteed.

Using it can have a polar opposite effect. There's been games where I've used it over and over, and its resulted in fly outs like you speak of. Other times I've used it and completely crushed the ball, or had the same effect of both in one game but w/ different hitters; some popping out, and some crushing the ball.

There's no exact science to using the left stick. I guess it's what works best for the user. If there's a certain location that you hit well, use it there, and if there's a certain location you don't hit well never use the left stick.
