    Homeruns with Classic Hitting

I've played around with swing stick, but I prefer classic for the reason that I can't seem to layoff much with the stick...I just don't walk and can't check my swing. I have been using my own sliders and now Guru's sliders for the last 3 games now but still not seeing much power, 3 user homeruns in 20 games so far. I see some homers in practice, but not that many. I just started using hitters eye, and it seemed to give me more homers in practice when they groove everything. Is that the key? Any suggestions? I do like being able to unlock cards with Gurus sliders.

I use classic hitting too and with these sliders im about to give you i was hitting way too many homers, but I was also using the Yankees and they are a highly rated offense.

    Success 55
    contact 10
    Power 100

For the rest of the User hitting sliders i was using BigJoe's I just modified the above 3

I am now using Village idiots sliders for a few games and I like what Im seeing so far.

C-bus has some good insights on Classic Hitting and sliders in general. Much of it has to do with adjusting AI pitching and getting a good pitch to hit and, but also adjusting some of the other less obvious batting sliders.

      Check it out:

Guys, C-Bus, this is awesome info. I have played about 5 games with a tiny modified version of C-Bus 2k share sliders and I am getting very very improved results. Love it! Mauer even hit an opposite field shot to take the lead in the 8th when the pitcher left a fastball up out over the plate. Sweet! Now I am seeing that it is going to all come down to my ability to lay of the filth and wait for a good pitch. Thanks!
