    Need Slider Testers....

My sliders are very similar to BFJ's, however, with a few tweaks, I MAY have made them even better!

If I could just get a few of you to play a game or two and post the stats, I'd greatly appreciate it, and it would help get (hopefully) a really nice set of sliders for all to use...anyways, here they are:

Thanks guys, I'd really appreciate just a bit of time and effort in helping me get these as "perfect" as possible.

    Re: Need Slider Testers....

We must be on the same page because my sliders have tilted in a very similar direction. I really like how you have the human batting; that is about exactly where I see myself ending up.

The one concern I see is here is the CPU hitting. The power looks good, but it seems like success anything below 50 makes them somewhat easy to shut down. The breaking point with CPU offense seems to be success between 60 and 55. I was playing with CPU success at 60 and contact at 40 with power at 85. The hit variety was very good, but there were simply too many of them. I was getting shelled for 10 runs on 18 hits regularly. I switched the success to 55 and contact to 45, and all of a sudden I was controlling the Yankees for 2 runs on 9 hits, of which I believe 8 were singles. I am going to test out a 55/50/90 for the CPU's offense, as I think that will be the happy medium between them being potent and still having the ability to shut them down.

Game played with exact sliders :

      Rays(CPU) 8 15 1 Shields
      Phillies(ME) 2 6 0 Hamels

Shields threw a no hitter against me through the 3rd, finally in 4th got a couple hits and scored a run, 3-1 at this time. Took Hamels out in 5th, 5-1 now. Got into a bases loaded jam in 7th, 3 runs score 8-1 now. I Hit a homer with Ryan Howard in 9th, only homer of game, for an 8-2 final!! Horrible game for me really! I did not hit well, I did not pitch well!!

I am pretty patient, that pitcher did not wanna throw balls!! Shields pitched the whole game with that low pitch count!

Tried again same teams, same starting pitchers: Sliders same but pitch zone tendency and strike zone tendency to 0. Got more balls thrown, plus walk. Probably a couple I could have laid off of for walk, who knows, close. Still on a hitting slump...

Upton hit 2 hrs, that is about all the offense!

        Rays(CPU) 3 7 0 Shields
        Phillies(ME) 0 3 2 Hamels

        Rays
        .212 avg
        5 singles
        0 doubles
        0 triples
        2 hr
        1 walk
        10 so
        2 sb
        0 cs
        93 pitch count
        20 balls 73 strikes

        Phillies
        .100 avg
        3 singles
        0 doubles
        0 triples
        0 hr
        0 walks
        6 so
        0 sb

Just a heads up, the CPU will never put up more then 2 or 3 runs of a pitcher over 70 with your CPU Success and contact that low. IF your having trouble getting the pc 2 score boost those.
