Okay i think im on to something..i just played one of the best games i have had with this game. I used the swing stick no left stick all game. These were my sliders:

User Batting
Success 70
Contact 10
Power 100
Handedness 100
IE Influence 50
Batting Pitch 50

CPU Pitching
Pitch Success 0
Pitch Selection 70
Strike Zone Tendency 5
Pitch Zone 70
Composure 75

Now here were the stats.

Reds (Harang) vs Pirate (Snell)

Pirates 4 6 1
Reds 5 9 0

Snell shut me down all game. He went 8 gave up 1 run and struck out 5. I only manage 4 hits off him. Then the Pirates closer came in the 9th with a 4-1 lead. Votto lead off with a solo homer to dead center. Phillips flew out. Then Bruce hit a solo homer to deep right. So its now 4-3. Edwin hit a double off the left field wall then Ramon drove him in with another double in the right center gap. After an intentional walk, Taveras singled home the game winning run.

Now i like how i hit homers without the left stick, but this was just one game and Im worried these might be a little offense happy. I crushed the ball in the 9th. Idk if Snell just had me off balanced or what, it was pretty strange how I was able to kill the Pirates pen. Im gonna play a few more games and see if i can get homers with guys who have less power, and see what numbers i get.

How does pitcher success at 0 work out for you?? I think i tried that once before and the pitcher never threw a strike.. Im gona go play a game with it at zero..

Just won game 7, 8-4. Had two homers by Pedroia and Lowell. Looking good. I'll probably continue to leave the sliders where they are for the rest of the playoffs but for next season I'll probably increase power by 5 (once click).

Nope, not on the homers at least. I did a few times for a sac-fly attempt. Ironically, the game froze as I tried to exit haha. I just simmed it though. I'm more concerned with just finding the right sliders at this point than winning.

I'm interested in Rdonnel's sliders, because I actually like to use the swing stick better than classic hitting. But at the moment these sliders are the best I've had so far, so I'll wait and see what you guys find with that.

Sup guys i have been using these sliders for 3 weeks now and they are close to perfect. You do have to use classic hitting for them to work though. Also only time i use left stick to influence the hit is for a sac fly to get runner from 3rd to home.

Hitting Success - 50
Contact - 10
hitting Power - 70
Pitch handiness- 100
IE batting influence- 50
Batting pitch influence==50
Also have fielder speed at 55

Ai pitch success - 40
Pitch selection 80
strike zone tend-- 5
pitch zone tend-- 10
AI pitcher influence 65

Also i didnt post AI batting sliders because that is different for everyone. Some games i get 4 homeruns some games 0.. Also see perfect amount of grounders and pop outs.
These saved the game for me so i welcome you to try them for a few games.. Also remember use classic hitting

Just finished another game. Im using the ones i just posted from above, here are the stats.

Reds (Volquez) vs. Brewers (Gallardo)

Reds 8 13 0
Brewers 4 10 0

I had 9 singles, 2 doubles, and 2 HRs (solo by Phillips, 3-run by Dickerson). I really liked how i was able to hit a HR with Dickerson. Both homers were without the left stick. Again Gallardo shut me down the whole game until i got a hit and a walk then Dickerson's 3-run blast in the 7th. I scored 4 of my runs of the brewers pen. Before i conclude these are too much offense im gonna get some more games in ill keep ya posted though.

With AI pitch success at 0 im still seeing lots of strikes. I just see a lot more pitches over the heart of the plate. Like Dickerson's homer was a hangin curve that i crushed. might need to bump it up a tad if i continue to get this many hits a game.

His are with swing stick mine are classic,...
Was just about to ask you about AI Pitcher success because i just took the yanks VS astros ... Oswalt was pitching for them and i tried pitcher success at 0 and creamed him for 5 runs in first inning..

So i restarted game with it at zero and scored 2 more runs in first with 3 doubles... So moved it to 100 and restarted a few times and could not hit the ball out of the infield lol..

Tried it at 100 and i have to say i agree about the pitch location. You get nothing to hit lol. Its all perfect pitches on the corners.. So im thinking where i have it at 40 may be perfect.

I will try your setting tonight because i really hate using classic hitting

Im thinking if you move your hitting success down to 50 and pitcher success up to 40 yours may be perfect

Yup i think your right too...i gotta move pitch success up a bit. Im playin the Astros right now and i hav 4 runs on 8 hits through 3 innings. I have a homer with Nix and Encarnacion. Gotta find a good medium

Just staarted a new YAnks chise with power at 100 and success at 55 as well as Ai pitcher success at 50 ... With swing stick

Played the Oriles and score 3 runs in first two innings with 2 doubles and one triple.. Fast foward to 9th inning i havent scored since. Im down 4 to 3. A-rod comes up to bat and i smash one over left to tie the game pressing up on left stick

Bottom of 10th i finally take cc out and bring in bruney who gives up a first pitch fastball walk off that barley clears the wall in center ..
I almost robbed that dam homerun lol ..

Just played another and score 6 runs first two innings with a-rod hitting a 2run shot..
Damon hits a solo bomb in the 6th for me to go up 7-2

Bottom of the ninth im up 7-2 and the bastards score 5 runs to tie it.
Top of the 10th i score 3 runs to win it.

I have contact at zero and i saw some amazing long foul balls down the line that were just barley foul.. Was pretty exciting.
Will continue to try these and hopefully i get shut out next game . Still thinking they are a little offense happy

Yeah man im still tweakin too...idk what to do though. I just cant seem to find a good medium with everything. Some sliders i see too many singles and no homers or xtra base hits. Some i just get crazy amounts of hits every game. I cant seem to get the 6-10 hits a game with the 2 or 3 extra base hits, and with 4 to 5 runs.

I want to be able to get shut out one game then explode for like 10 runs another game. I dont feel the possibility of this happening in this game.

Just played game 3
To my delight i only scored 1 run. I couldnt get anything going . Only had 7 hits as well

Will report back 15 games in. Hopefully i see a few homeruns from my 789 hitters in that time.
