    Need Help with the Defense

Hi Guys, I'm from Brazil. I'm new to this amazing game. I already know the basics, but need help with the defense. If someone could help me.

I need to know what to do in specific situations like. Left hand Hitter, One runner in the 1st Base or Right Hand Hitter a Runner in the 1st and another in the 2nd base, On and on...

So I would like to know for each situation What to do. How to allign the Outfielders and Infilders. I Mean, Outfielders to the Left or Deep Right. Did i make myself clear ?

If someone could help me, i really appreciate. Send to my email [email protected] , some kind of tutorial explaining what to do in each situation, ok

    Thanks.

Re: Need Help with the Defense

Hey Guys don´'t need to email me. Please, just answer about some situations.

1- Left hand hitter - runners on 1st and 2nd bases.
2- Right hand hitter - runners on 2nd and 3rd bases.
3- Left hand hitter - runner on 1st and 3rd bases.
4- Right hand hitter - runner and 3rd bases.

I Want to know in wich sittuations i most often have to use other than the normal sets to the Infielders and Outfielders.

The Double Play set for infielders did i always use with a runner in the 1st base or 2nd base ?

Did i always use the outfielders to the left against a right Hand Hitter and outfielders to the right against a left hand hitter ?

When to use the Shallow or Deep Formations ??

I´m playing well but most times i lose because i lose time running after the ball.

    Really Aprecciate with the Help.

    Thanks.

The game is pretty good about automatically stationing your defense. But, to answer your questions....

it isn't about left handed hitter or right handed hitter as much, but rather where they hit the ball. Some lefties (Inside Edge) like to go the other way, some are pull hitters.

The game does it automatically for you, so your defensive adjustments shouldn't be that frequent.

Really, the only time you pull the OF in (shallow), is when the winning run is on third base with less than 2 outs.

Hi man, Thank you a lot. I've been learning this game for about a 10 days.. And each game is something new to know .

If you don´t mind answering some more doubts.

Why in some plays, even with the Fly Ball some runners change bases and score ?

When there's a runner on 3rd and 2nd base and they hit a ball. I must throw the ball the the 1st base or to the catcher ? ?

I saw some situations that they out the runner throwing to the catcher and others to the 1st base... To the 1st it's when already have 2 strikes and to the cathcer with less than 2 strikes ?

And One Last question about the control. Is there a correct way to use the power swing ? Can I Just put it the stick down and wait to the ball or the movement it's sequencial i put down and right after up ?

        Thanks a lot..

          -----------
In baseball, when there are less than two outs, the runner can tag the base he is currently at and advance. If he doesn't tag, you can force him out by throwing to the base he was on. If he does tag, you should be prepared to throw to the base he is going to.

If by strikes you mean outs, then yes, for the most part. It is common in baseball to "take the easy out," which is first base. In almost every scenario, you should try to get the out at first base. Unless the runner scoring would end your game or put you at a huge disadvantage to win.

In this game, you can pull back on the stick at any time during the windup of the pitcher, hold it as long as you want, and push up on the stick to swing. It doesn't matter how long you hold it back.
