    Final Update June 25 @ 7:27 PM

    The 2 flavors of sliders. (40/40.) & (30/60.)

    The easy one is 40/40. You can expect for you and the cpu both to get around 10 hits a game. You can expect to strike out the CPU around 10 times a game.


    The more challenging one is 30/60. Don't expect around 10 hits a game & expect to work harder to strike out the pc, & don't be surprised if you get shut out a game or 2.

    No matter which one you pick you get realistic results with both of them. It's just that with the easier one you will get high realistic results. While with the more challenging one you will get a mix of high and low realistic results.

    Human & CPU 5 (60) 5 (70) 5 (40) 5 (30) = 10+10+10+10=(40) Even Numbers on both sides.
    Human 35 (1) CPU 35 (1) 1+1=2+40=(42) Even numbers on both sides.
    CPU 80 (1) 65 (1) 1+1=2 Uneven numbers added to 42+2= (44) Numbers total
    The Slider Balance.
    Human & CPU 6 (70) 6 (60) 6 (30) =12+12+12=(36)
    Human & CPU 1 (35) 1 (40) 1 (50) =2+2+2=6+36=(42)
    CPU has 2 more numbers then human 2 (65)+42=(44) Numbers total

    These are all new so if you are already using my sliders then skim over these and make the following changes. Reset the sliders to custom. Then put all sliders on zero exit and save. Then go back into the sliders and input the following sliders, that way you know for sure you are using all custom sliders.

    The first game I played was on Break Point so by judging from the other 2 its obvious that Pin Point allows you to score easier. So if you like break Point but don't seem to be scoring enough then you definitely will score on Pin Point.

    im sure its safe to assume these are on the 360? just wondering if anyone has tried them on the ps3. I just picked up the game today as the other was getting a wee bit stale. would like to get a franchise started relatively soon.

        I just tried your sliders with my franchise Detroit Tigers and had a 0-0 game vs the Twins until the top of the 9th when Miggy hit a 2 run homer to win it. Realistic game with dominant pitching from Baker and Scherzer up to that point. Hitting seems to be tougher. Will play a few more games, hope to see some 10-8 games as well as pitching duels.

          keep me posted if you get any 10-8 Games.

          I did not know this game had auto fielding. I play this on PC and I don't remember seeing an auto field option.

              They added auto fielding with patch. It's in controller options.

                I do fielding manually. There has been to many times where i needed to take over a fielder in order to catch the ball to actually rely on the CPU to do it for me.

                One example is on hits where they hit it just over the 2bs head when they are standing between 2b and 1st base. If you take control of your fielder a lot of times you can catch it right before it hits the ground. The CPU however will not do it on their own.

                  After about 4 games in my franchise with your sliders, Every game starts off being a pitcher's duel. There is no scoring in the 1st to 7th innings. and all 4 games have been decided by 3 runs or less. I would like some variation and see some 11-3 and 9-0 scores.
                  I'll play a little longer and see, if not I might have to try some diffferent sliders.

                    Strange I play with the astros and I have had the cpu score up to 5 runs in the first inning and on top of that between the second and third game in my franchise against the phillies I have had them hit a total of nine home runs against me.

                    I use classic batting and pitching with catcher suggestion on. exactly how are you playing these?

                      BustinLoose. Alright I gave this some thought. The sliders are fine on my end. I get variational game play why you are not I don't know. What I have thought about is if you are saying that every game is a pitching duel, then that means pitching is spot on and what needs to be re worked are the bat sliders.

                      In order to do that I will need to re balance my sliders, so I am thinking about going with 40/80 or 50/50 or something. Just give my a day or so and I will have something new. Hopefully the new will fix your none variational problem.

                          Don't get the wrong impression, your sliders are good, they are real challenging. It's not easy trying to get a hit with cpu or user. I just sometimes like to see a team (or my team) jump out to a 5-0 lead in the 1st, just to see if my team (or the other team) can can come back. Situations like that. That's all.

                            I understand. Did you try the adjustments? If so is the scoring any better ?

                            I don't know what team you are playing with, but if its a team thats not good at hitting then I recommend putting your bat sliders on 40/80 if you have a good hitting team then i recommend keeping them at 35/70.

                            I use the astros and i use the 40/80 and i seem to be able to keep my runs up with my hits a little better. I also notice putting the cpu on 40/80 keeps there runs caught up to there hits too.

                              I hope I just made my final slider edit. I now give you 2 choices on bat contact.

                              Like I said in the slider post if you have a good team then keep your bat contact at 35 and bat power at 70.

                              If you are striking out to many times or just simply are not scoring much then raise bat contact to 40 and bat power to 80.

                              The CPU at 40/80 Seems perfect they not only keep the score up with there runs now but they will allow you to throw them more balls.

                              When they were at 35/70 I thew up to 4 walks a game, but since they are at 40/80 There have been games where they let me walk them 2 straight. Which is good for classic pitching.

                              I put the CPU running back at 40. When i had it at 60 in my opinion they got triples to easy. but if you think they are slow on 40 then raise the speed to 60.

                              When i get the chance I will put up some box scores.
