Some initial adjustments

I think the game plays pretty good on All-Star, but I made few changes that has already greatly improve the feel of the game.

I started from All-Star:

Pitching;
User Control from 45 to 30
CPU Strike Tendency from 50 to 40

Fielding:
User OF Speed from 29 to 30

changed my Pitching control to those setting also , i like the results ! just have to keep on tweaking it looks like . the AI for 2k12 is much improved the more i play , im knocking out 10 games a day at least . I just gave up 7 runs in the first Inning vs boston crap wonder if i can come back LOL heading back to to play the best baseball game ever released ! YA I SAID IT THE BEST BY FAR

I had some amazing games with these and I think I will be using these for this year. No need to tweak too many things.

For all the people worried about the strikeouts against the CPU, I think we should test more than one game because one of the beautiful things of this game (at least for me) is that every pitcher feels different and plays different.
Using these adjustments I played with Latos against the dbacks: I punched out 5 of the first 6 batters and finised with 8Ks in 7 IP. (I won the game 4-1)
Then I used Wade Davis against the Marlins: well that felt amazing, lots of flyballs and only 1 strikeout in 7.1 IP (Peralta and Farnsworth struck out 3 batters in the remaining 1.2 innings to finish with 4 Ks in 9 IP).

All of this to say that unlike other games in the past, this year I don’t feel the need to change every slider in the game, as it plays well already out of the box.

These adjustments do wonders for me.

I did this, and i am finally happy and enjoying game, I believe some slider adjustments are overdone and effect game play in a unnecessary way. I am doing what was posted in 1st post, with classic hitting. Blast so far!!

So the old 2k11 slider settings really don't hold up in 2k12?

I do know I had to drop the error sliders down to 50. In 2k11 I had the error rating for catching set at 100 and throwing at 60 and it worked pretty well. In 2k12, in the first game I played with those ratings we had 6 errors in the first 2 innings and Cincy had 2. So it was pretty obvious those sliders had been tweaked. I've been trying to find out what are good settings for all the different sliders. I'll try what you suggest.
