Well I am still enjoying these sliders. Having good games just need to be a bit more patient at the plate I guess. I did have to tweak a bit for my skill level. Couldnt keep from walking 7-8 batters a game with pitch control at 15 so I took that up a couple ticks. Im still getting hammered all the time but thats when I mess up and hang a pitch.

I have yet to win a game on these. Had 3 games within a run but yet to pull one out.

I think im going to leave the sliders alone and just force myself to get better and see if I can get some wins.

Haha, me too. But I must say that I do enjoy these quite a bit. I've had no problem with pitch control at 15 but I did have issues with throwing accuracy, I was fine with setting feet and throwing but anything I preloaded ended up as an error, so I went up a bit on accuracy and also on throwing errors to counteract the fact I gave myself a bigger sweet spot.

I can't hit, but I am working on it. Not giving in. Great work MK, as usual. Glad to see you stayed in the game.

A couple notes:

- I do NOT know how these work with Total Control Hitting... Sorry, but I'm an old man who loves classic batting. But you're on your own with that.

- Keep an eye on USER batting POWER... I may have to raise that, but will wait to see more results. 2K most definitely gave the pitchers the momentum swing this year as I've had to do some adjusting to get the offenses to click.

Appreciate the feedback!! Like last year, I want to get a solid set together for everyone to enjoy. I've taken feedback from a lot of other slider creators here, so I want to thank them (and those who post their observations) as it's a help to all of us in search of those "perfect" sliders...

How often to you use catcher suggested pitches? Would you say 90% of time, or less. Just wondering, cause I use catcher suggested pitches about 97% of time and find CPU hitting is a tad overpowered.

I use it about the same as you do, and I haven't noticed CPU hitting being overpowered. I've noticed that sometimes they have excellent days at the plate where I can't get anyone out, and then they have days where they can't hit water if they fell out of a boat

I agree. I use it about 99 percent of the time. The only time that I don't is if I'm in the red on a pitch and the catcher will not go away from it. I still throw the pitch to the Sam location and try to throw a pitch with similar break ie, they want me to throw a slider to I through a cutter. I just lost a game vs the tigers 11-2 with Lester pitching and then came back and win the next game 5-1 with Beckett pitching.

I use the catcher suggestion a lot, but when I get two strikes, I generally consult the Inside Edge report, to see which pitch(es) are the weakest for the hitter, and which zones. I have also noticed that the catcher will frequently call for the same pitch 3, 4, or even 5 times in a row. Obviously I would advise staying away from that. I am currently using pitcher control at 20, for I found 15 to just be a little too difficult, as I was unable to hit my spots with Halladay.

Seems like 8 out of 10 balls hit into the gap by the AI are turned into triples. Have yet to see anyone here mention this as an issue. Maybe I'm the only one?

I have this problem but forgot to mention it. I have had a bunch of tripples hit on me and thats getting a good jump running as quick as I can to the ball. Some of them SHOULD be tripples but some a quick outfielder ought to be able to keep a double.

Also this was before he modified cpu runner speed even faster so I can only imagine it will be worse.

May I suggest bumping OF Throw Speed to 55. I set my base runner speed to 55 in my slider set yesterday as it really made base running feel realistic.

55 OF & 50 IF Throw Speeds are perfect IMO

Mk.....are you seeing any homeruns? For the life of me I'm just not getting any? I'm bumping power to 65 hope that don't screw the rest of the set up. Also bigfnjoe is onto something on his post above it makes it feel much better I think so anyway. By the way love your sliders use them every year. Lol I always bounce around from set to set and have this year too and like always here I am back to ur set and staying with them. Thanks man for the work u do!

That's correct. Those tweaks are for both, along with Catcher Arm Strength @ 65 for both

You gotta do what's comfortable to you man. I advise using someone like Halladay or Verlander and test some numbers. 20 has worked well for me. You should be able to hit your spots with someone like I just mentioned, whereas it should be (somewhat) difficult with pitchers of lower ratings.
