I think Human batting power at 55 is better than 50 (I play PC): more bases loaded and less ground out (IMO)

So for follow up on my second game and hoping that I would get a perfect game.... yeah not so lucky. I got shelled for 7 runs with Buckholz. Looks like the Orioles were pissed after getting no hit!!

big, i see u go with 50 for throw accuracy.
works bettr for me then the others at 0 and 5.
even with a good fielder the window was really small.
        so this should help

i like the fielder run speed really low
one i tried it was at 0 but i might want a slight boost, so 5 or 10 it is for me.
I will try one game with ur exact sliders and work from there.

still have time before opening day!

Love em my man! I had a no hitter with my buccos going into the 7th and ended giving 3 for the game. I won 3-1 against Bal. Fielding at 1 and 1 is really good too.

I liked your sliders last year but for 2k12 it's not working for me. The problem is there's no offense at all. I played 9 games in my franchise with the Blue Jays with a record of 5-4, i scored 12 runs and allowed 11. So yea 23 runs overall in 9 games. Most of these runs are HR's.

Love the set, I am actually combining yours and mks together with my own little changes like catchers throwing power, a little tweak here and there but am having the time of my life.

First game in my season with the Red Sox, Verlander and Lester had a pitching duel final score 4-1 with me having 8 hits and the cpu having 7. Then I play the Blue Jays and have a run fest and won 11-10 with me having 13 hits and the cpu having 15. I hit 6 home runs in that game and the cpu hit 5 and this was my first game that i actually blew up. My last game was against the Rays and I lost 9-4 having Longoria and Upton hitting hrs and I was down 9-2 going into the bottom of the 9th so i am having amazing results with the slider set.

I hit homeruns, triples, doubles, I saw an array of different outs, every game feels different and i have games where errors happens and some where i am play fantastic defense. I get walks, the only thing I would change is find a happy medium with the pitcher stamina. I think its a attribute thing that there are some pitchers that need to have their stamina raised a bit so they will last longer and be more realistic.

Jon Lester is a horse and he went 8 1/3 inning against the tigers and threw 112 pitches and could have possibly pitched the 9th. Verlander went 7 2/3 innings and threw 109 pitches and could have gone more but I got him in trouble. But when I pitched bard and he went 5 1/3 innings on 84 pitches and was tired. So again some pitchers might need a boost so they last longer.

I dont see what the issue with this game. I means its not spectacular but it plays great baseball with the right sliders. My only problem is in franchise mode and the cpu freaking out about lineups and not making them realistic and stuff. If you want to know what I use Ill post them but I do give full credit to MK and Bigfnjoe

84 seems about right for Bard right now. He is making the switch from a 1 inning reliever to a "possible" starter. I think 100 pitches for him would be stretching his limit.

The problem here is that the CPU calculates lineups based on ratings. In real this is not 100% done the same way.
To get accurate lineups one would have to change over a bunch of ratings in the rosters.

What's up everybody. Been busy with work. I've been checking the thread as much as possible. Yesterday finally got a couple of games in & I'm thinking of making 2 changes:

Thinking of Bumping AI Power up to 60. Though I'm seeing HR's, I think we could be seeing a couple more from the CPU. (I want to see some No-Doubter's)

Thinking of Lowering Catcher Throw Power to 50 (Default) which would make Catcher Throws more dependent on Throw ratings, making it more realistic for Steals & Caught Stealing

                    Thoughts?

Just tried your sliders and threw a no-hitter with Kershaw against the Royals in playball mode!
The only thing that kept it from a perfecto was a walk and an error that led to a run.

Just noticed I made the custom set from Allstar so it was probably easier than it should have been. And yes I think I'm going to up the power. Not enough extra base hits or HR's.

                      First no hitter ever.

One question........what are you using for injuries?

And thanks for the sliders.....using the Jays and am 6-4.....batting averages are a bit high, but are slowly going down....
                          Awesome job.......

I haven't started my franchise yet. I would say set your injury slider between 15-25.
