I don't know if the PC version (which is what I have) is different than the console versions but the other day I got fed up with all the slider experimentation and just set them to "pro" and since I did that the game plays great. All the animations are smooth. The SS no longer holds the ball while some runner rounds second and goes all the way home without a throw. I've been seeing a huge variety of animations I hadn't seen before while not seeing any of the stupid ones I was seeing before.

For me, these slider settings are perfect. I'm not really sure why there are so many varying slider sets out there unless games are tweaked for an individual's personal playing skill or preference. If that is the case then obviously one person's preferable settings probably won't satisfy someone else. It seems I am the only one who finds the pro settings ideal for what I am looking for.
