MLB 2K12 Lets Watch Some Baseball Sliders!

So, I'm new here and see no sliders for cpu vs cpu. So I made some today, and the results were pretty. I've seen a play where the pitcher got the ball, and tagged out as the runner was about to hit first (something i never seen) Balls to strikes were pretty ok to me.

    I did these from pro

    All cpu of course

    Contact:80

    Power:80

    Bunt Contact:50

    Bunt Success:50

    _____________________________________

    Pitching

Pitch Speed:95 (Or whatever floats your boat)

    Pitch Success: 60

    Strike Zone Tendency: 35
Pitch Break Influence:100 (If im right this slider affects how much a batter swings and misses? If so players will swing and miss, but also take strikes/balls)

Pitcher Composure Influence:20 (Pitchers will still get rocked if they aren't hitting those spots)

    ______________________________________________ld

    Fielding

    Gather Error:50

Throwing Error: 50 (I think i had these both at 55,but went down because i was seeing like 4 errors a game from teams with good defense)

Outfield Throw Speed:55 (Looking to bump this up to at least 65)

    Infield Throw Speed:55 (Perfect)

    Outfield Speed:5

Infield Speed: 5 (These are low because anything else looks like their doing the mc hammer dance)

    ______________________________

    Running

Base Running Speed:45 (Fast players will still beat out throws)

    Hit N Run: 60

    Sacrifice Bunt:30

    Squeeze Tendency: 35

Base Running Aggression: 75 (If they think they can take....they will)

Steal Aggression:40 (Had this higher then everyone found their inner ricky henderson)

Catcher Arm N Strength: 50 (You'll know if your catcher really has a cannon arm)

Try these out! tell me if they suck,or if they are a great experience for you

Good to see some CPUvCPU stuff on here.

The settings look really good to me. I'll plug them into my 2nd Franchise and check out some games.

One thing I'll suggest, as someone who spent a lot of time earlier in the year working on CPUvCPU sliders, consider matching the HUMAN settings to your CPU numbers if you're not doing so already.

I've come to the belief that once you set the game to CPUvCPU the sliders become "HOMEvAWAY" just like NBA2k (despite the fact this isn't graphically shown in the menu screens).

Thanks for posting these, I know there are a few other CPUvCPU kids out there.

Ahh did not that think of that,so do you think control setup comes in play too? because i know classic hitting gives you more variety. Thanks for trying these man, i am a big cpuvscpu player and just wanted to share the love.

I really don't know as I've played exclusively Classic Hitting/Total Control Pitching since
MLB 2k10. So that has been the setting for any of my CPU games.

I feel like with this game everything almost has to be at 50. Seems like its more "true to ratings"

          New Changes

          Strike Zone Tendency:50

Also might bump up outfield throwing speed.I WANT to see close plays at third and home plate.

          Pitch Success:50

Pitch Break Influence: 50 (I'm not too sure about this, like it could be either or)
