Shogun Slider option for 25 Anticipation

Just played 2 games in a row with these sliders and the Feb 16 roster.
1st game was Braves at Marlins (me)
Braves scored top of the 1st, after a triple and then a fielders choice throw out at 1st base.
Final score of this game was 1-0.
Marlins had 7 hits but could not score, Braves finished with 1 hit and 1 run, lol

2nd game was a marathon Marlins (me) at Twins.
Tied 3-3 after the 1st inning. There would be no more scoring , plenty of hits and great defensive plays until the top of the 13th. Logan Morrison hit a 2 out solo shot to break the tie.
Marlins brought in Cishek and hold onto win 4-3.
Btw, Giancarlo Stanton went 0 for 6. Ouch.
Really enjoying this game now !

While i do appreciate having fun with a game is essential...surely a sense of realism has to play into it as well?
The pitching lines by the cpu in your screenshots are just awful.

Unfortunately , that is self inflicted.
I am very impatient at the plate ...lol
Still had a blast playing the game.

I wrote a long post to this but realized it wasn't necessary. Two each his own. If he likes to swing, like I do, so be it. No need to call out his screenshots and lines, which were pretty damn good, for the sake of saying something is awful.

To me, it is a game. Depends on what you think are the priority things to manage in a video game with the time you have in the day.

Yes, not the Bigs, not Slugfest, but if one stat is not to par with what you think it needs to be, its ok. It's a video game. If his lines said, 20 runs, 84 hits, then maybe time for a comment. But one thing, not much need.

Please don't take that the wrong way. I am not a message board fighter, I like to help with things. However, having done numerous sliders for different games it gets old when one thing gets picked and get put into the sim vs unsim column.

I have been reading this thread and the 25 anticipation thread and I am really intrigued.

I play on PC, is there a roster set up already with anticaption set to 25 out there? If not, what is the best/easiest way to make the changes?

Since the edits to the roster with all the work you , MK, tvman, dcnats , sorry if I forgot anyone, I have been having a blast. Your sliders are more intune to my play style and level.

So far, I have just used the last 2k roster from late October but I know that people at mvpmods.com are working on some updated PC rosters right now.

So, for now you probably need to get tywigg's roster editor for PC. It MIGHT be on the mvpmods.com website but I don't remember off hand. If it's not there, then I'm not sure how you can get it anymore.

I downloaded that PC file tonight and "installed" it to my save folder but haven't tried it out yet. Maybe tomorrow.

It's pretty slick. I feel like the PC version plays slightly more difficult than the 360 version as far as tighter controls and more response. Because of this I had to tweak just a couple of these sliders to my liking on the PC. But I highly recommend beginning with these sliders and playing how you like it.

I am using these sliders, with the rosters to begin a franchise and I am comfortable enough with them nothing will go haywire.

Anyone try this for 2k13 yet? Just picked it up and it plays just like 2k12. I played 2 full games and noticed some awkward animations already. I might try this later.

Funny, the animations look soooo much better in 13 than 12. Especially in the outfield. #shrugs

It makes sense that 13 is smoother than 12. Not much I can do with that.

Need to compare 12 vs 12. Can sliders make it smoother? Yes. But even if minimal effort was put into 13, it should still have an improvement over previous iterations. It is what it is.
