What is the difference for the 2 sliders and took that advice about the gesture and played 10 games with the Indians and I went 7-3 the turned it off played the blue jays while dickey was on the mound and I won 4
To 3 with a go head 3 run shot in the top 8th from Jason kipnis and I fealt I had no trouble on the knuckleball or Brian Wilson 100 mph fastball and I am now using ur fielding sliders again thanks it looks like after all I just had to get use to the game more and I'm back on ur hitting sliders it just so happened that my whole order was hot after my series with the stros

I've been trying out these sliders to get some more ideas about my own. Why did Cliff Lee just walk my pitcher on 4 pitches?

I'm not really sure that you can get much information from a single at bat. Slider testing, in general, requires large samples to get usable data. I see good results with my sliders, although pitchers can get wild at times and perhaps throw 11-12 straight balls. But that's part of the randomness and fun of the game.

I have played several games and still about half the time draw a walk on the first batter. I know that does happen once in a while, but seems to be a bit frequent in this case. I'm also wondering what you've discovered about pitch success because for me it's hard to determine what it actually does..

It seems to influence how often a batter can get a hit. But I don't think it works exactly the same as the USER contact slider, which determines how many hits you get. I think the success slider has to do with command, or hitting spots in the strike zone. Strike frequency has to do with control.
