    Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders

So is this game no good for watching CPU vs CPU games? I like to watch the CPU play some games for me during the season. When I rented it I didn't try watching a game, as I was mainly checking out the gameplay.

I know MVP 2005 plays really well with CPU vs CPU, even without adjusting any sliders.

Once the passed ball problem was fixed the game is really good to watch CPU vs CPU. The camera angles are not adjustable so sometimes it will follow the runner instead of the ball like on TV. Overall the best game I've seen since High Heat.

CPU vs CPU players . . . are you out there? If so, what have you learned about sliders? I like BFJ&Gs, but I think they work better for CPU vs Human games. I don't mind tweaking on my own, but if you've got some "secrets" to share, I'd like to know about them. It would save me some time and trouble. Thanks.

                        Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders

I have been tinkering with the sliders to come up with some good results, I just can't quite seem to generate quite enough offense. I am running a season with the Brewers, who happen to be one of the weakest offensive teams, so that might be part of the problem. After 12 games I am getting a lot of 3-2, or 2-1 type games. I seem to have the walk and strikeout ratio pretty good though. I will be glad to share my sliders if anyone is interested.

Keep talkin' and I'll keep reading I want to see if this would be worth my time and effort to do sliders and I want to see some ideas, thoughts or something anybody can come up with numbers for em' I need input.

So whats up fellas are you gonna do this or what? All these looks in here and nobodys even attempted to post one set, well I've some observations and heres one for you...the fielding cameras are not too good so I can't see the action on the field...not good to do CPU sliders if you can'y see alot of the action taking place on the field.

I'm really trying to get a grip on this game and it wouldn't be a problem to do some but I can't get past not seeing on the field action and adjust to that it'd be somewhat a guess or hit and miss.

These would require an effort by all who want CPU vs CPU sliders, well not all but someone like myself who'd really like to see some because with this game playing or watching the CPU is handi capped due to the cameras not showing enough to make proper and correct adjustments...but if I can get some input on this I'm willing to try.

Re-cap guys...in order to get this done some of you guys who want to see sliders should be more active and leave some input in here...any type will do just get involved and I'll help out but be fore warned if I do sliders of my own it will be based on what I can see and feel which going by these cameras isn't going to be easy but like I said I'm willing to try.

Since I see that nobody has posted sliders for CPU vs. CPU yet, so I'm gonna try my hand and post my sliders. Note that I have only tested these for a few games, but I have gotten very realistic results for those that I did test it on (after tweaking it many times first). I may be tweaking these a little bit, but for the most part, these have worked out great so far. If anyone else ahs better sliders, please feel free to post them. So, without further ado, I present my Version 1.0 slider set for CPU vs. CPU...
