    Ram209 NON K-Zone Sliders

Well as you could tell from my title I tried using the K-zone but I could not do it. I love the idea of it and the concept, BUT the killer for me was 95% of the "miss" pitches ended up being down the middle meat balls regardless of were I missed it. I think that is why people are not seeing more balls by either the CPU or player. Now I use the Meter, yes the Meter it is actually pretty cool and alot different from MVP. I know K-zone was the big attraction this year but guys try meter it is so much more sim like. Let the meter fill up so your accuracy line moves faster it makes it harder.

Ok just a few notes on these sliders
--alot better pitch counts and walks strikeouts etc...
--I used Blzer's pro sliders as a base(nice job by the way) so dont use power swing only contact
--I feel these are pretty hard to pitch and bat to me these are fun and challenging.

    Sliders are in order:

    Re: Ram209 NON K-Zone Sliders

Here's the game I played using your sliders........

Chicago White Sox (CPU) at New York Mets (ME)

    CPU Wild Pitches: 8
    ME Wild Pitches: 0

    CHI 2R 10H 0E
    NY 3R 9H 0E

    M. BUEHRKE 5.0IP 6H 2R 2ER 0BB 4K
    P. MARTINEZ 5.2IP 8H 2R 2ER 2W 6K

It was a good same overall. I scored 2 runs early. The Sox scored their 2 runs off a 2 run HR by Everett. I got a run int he top of the 9th off a WP and a double by Wright.

I got into a bases loaded jam with pedro and brought in a reliever and got out of the inning.

Pitching seemed easy with Pedro but got harder with some of the relievers.

I will play some more and let you know..... I will try and log the pitch counts also....

The Sox did steal two bases abd got caught stealing once......I think it is the first time in a while that Piazza threw anyone out.

I also have a question...what difficulty is the base for there....I went with All-Star?

Yes it is from All-star, I have no idea what we can do about the Wild-pitches. Also, how did you like the Meter

I tried using the meter, and while I like it better than k-zone, it wasn't giving me anywhere near enough pitches thrown.
