    Is there any way possible...

Is there any way to get the CPU to take on one dime of salary in a trade in Dynasty mode? I dont like the business aspects of owner mode or this part of dynasty and its killing me!

the only way is to turn off fair trades. if the cpu is over budget you will have to turn off budgets for the trade as well. you can turn everything back on after the trade.

i had the same issue. i wanted to trade pujols for anyone to dump cap space. not one team would take him. it was stupid. teams are 40M under budget and don't want him? the trade logic looks at salary too much.

If it makes sense for them. It's arguable whether THIS made sense for the computer, but as the Blue Jays and needing to cut salary, I traded them a younger, slightly more dynamic Halladay in return for Chris Carpenter (the ex Jay) who is just about as good most of the time and I happen to actually pitch better with carpenter. THe difference between the two per year was 10.2 million (10.5 vs. 300K) and they ate all that salary. Of course, they're the Cardinals and they have a huge budget and the deal made sense for them.

In my current Mets Dynasty I was shocked when the computer offered me a trade. It was Loretta for Mike Cameron, straight up. Cam was at $6.5 mil while Lortetta was making $2.8 mil. I turned them down, BTW.

In my fantasy draft dynasty with the Padres the computer offered me some scab who made 300k for Bendito Santiago, who I think makes 3.2 million. It was before the all star break. I accepted it even though the scab sucked cause i had Javy Lopez and needed cap space
