Making this game timeless.... (XBOX version)

I'm just about done with the xbox version of the classic team rosters. You can download it in the rosters section. That thread explains what isn't done. I'll have it finished this weekend and will post the final version 1 ASAP.

Post in this thread just for commentary and if you think I should put a different guy in (justify it and tell me who to take out). I tried as much as possible to have starters who actually played the positon (even the distince OF spots), and have a corner IF, middle IF, backup C, and two backup OF for each team. Then I wanted 6 starters and 6 relievers (was pretty leanient on the pitching staff though). The only real problem is the D-Rays currently only have 2 starters because any other worthy guys are on other teams (Johnson, Schilling) or pitched much more from the pen. Any suggestions on AZ would be greatly appreciated.

Any errors I made should go in the actual roster thread. Thanks, that will help me out in sorting out information from you guys.

You mean the AZ Diamondbacks, not D-rays. Ummm, maybe you can put guys from teams that don't exist anymore on TB and AZ. The teams just haven't been around long enough, though the same can be said for the rockies and marlins.

Great thing you have done here. Any plans to do the hot/cold zones? Looks really good though, can't wait for the finished product.

EDIT - A couple suggestions for the Chicago Cubs, Andre Dawson should be there, he won an MVP, hit over 400 home runs, and will most likely eventually make the Hall of Fame. You could probably replace Buckner with him and leave Anson on the bench. Jerome Walton on an outside shot, as he won the ROTY in '89. Overall very good though.

I don't know about HC zones, maybe I'll make some generic ones later. As for Andre, look for him on Montreal (Washington).

Benes might be a good idea, I think he's currently on SD (that might be Alan though, can't remember).

Webb is already on the rosters, the other is Brian Anderson.

              Oops on the AZ D-Rays.

I thought about putting guys like Walter Johnson on their team, I might have to do that. First I'll do a little more research though because I plan on making the Senators and Browns along with a couple negro all-star teams on some AAA teams in a future release.

The finished rosters (besides four guys who were late additions-explained in roster section) are now available.
