    Help me get back into MVP 2005 (in house rules,franchise stuff, etc.)

    What's good all?

    After trying MLB 2k6 for awhile, i think I am coming back to MVP. My question is what sliders can you guys recommned after being away for a long time (I was using pareds before). Also, if I rememebr the franchise free agency was a little screwy so I had to implement some house rules to ensure that I didnt sign everyone to ridiculously low deals (i played in owner mode), has anyone come across this and if so what rules did u employ to create a "realistic" franchise (same thing with only using a reliever sparingly because of the fatigue bug).

    Last is there a differene between owner and dynasty? I was exclusively in owner mode but as I said above found that it made the franchise a little too easy in terms of acquing top talent and I'd like mroe of a challenge.

      This is for xbox by the way (no pc MVP mod). And any suggestions for getting back into the game would be appreciated.

          Is there any chance of you getting the PC version because it like a whole new game.Well if you can only play the Xbox version than you need to update the rosters(of course)and i would try some of the sliders some of the guys here have up

              download the 2006 schedules for x-box with the updated rosters..

              that way you can play with the 2006 rosters AND play the 2006 schedule with the team of your choice....

              i use a combination of sliders for All-Star...

              I use mostly Bonecrushers modified....and i use Jistics hitting sliders...

              i like the 6/4 view....the pitching is fun that way....i also lowered the cpu ball rate to 0 because i am very impatient at the plate and could only get like 3 hits a game....i still get realistic box scores, just like 3 less walks a game...

              good luck...this game is the best baseball game ever made, hands-down, so i'm sure you can get back into it!!

                  I recommed rob carew's sliders as an base.

                  the new ultimate rosters with 06 schedules, that way the top players salaries is up to date

                  I prefer dynasty mode over owner mode because of the salary cap plus the cpu make better trades and signings on that mode.

                      I reccomend Hoop27's All-Star Sliders v2.2 from MVPmods.com, been using them for a long time, and they are on point.

                                  Haven't decided yet. I think I'm goign to get an action replay (for NFL 2k5 as well) and update my rosters and schedules that way. I'll let ya'll know...
