Some really nice things...a couple of ground balls. AND...

A double play. With the pitcher covering first!

The side arm throws from the outfielders look like dookie. What was EA thinking?

I think the sidearm is relative to how hard you throw the ball, because when the outfielder used it there weren't any close plays at the bags so they weren't throwing the ball hard. At least that's what it looked like to me.

That's what I am thinking too, because I have seen a lot of straight overhand throws in different movies, especially the ones where the outfielders do a "crow hop" to try and gun someone down. I have only seen a sidearm throw maybe twice, and both times there was no play to be made anywhere.

I love the double pump before the throw. The replays in this game look great!

Keep in mind guys that this is an alpha build of the game. So tweaks to the animations, graphics, gameplay should take place before the final.

Oh thats right, outfielders throw sidearm when they try and put a little extra on it... Come on guys, they should just leave the overhand motion in there for ALL throws. I've seen it more than a few times. It looks horrible. Just my opinion.
