    MVP 08 mod installation

I have the mod downloaded and saved where I think it needs to be saved (in the EA Sports folder) but when I try to run it I get a message saying "Windows cannot open this file..." It's the TiT_2_0_5.rar file. It wants to find a program to open it with either by searching the web or my computer. I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong. Can anybody help me with this?

    Please and thanks

You can't just run the file. You should use Kraw's installer tool, found on EA Mods or I believe MVP Mods. All you do is point to the file with his installer and follow the prompts. It's works great, for the 08 mod and all other mods for that matter!

No, no... TiT 2.0.5 IS the installer. But if that in and of itself is zipped, unzip it and then use it. However, on the TiT download page, make sure you have all of the other component requirements that it might indicate. You can simply create a folder entitled "MVP08" and stick it in your EASports folder (but you don't have to..... you can do this anywhere on your cpu). For convenience sake, put the mod (or for that matter, any mod that TiT can handle) in that same folder as the TiT program. Activate TiT and simply pick the mod. Load game discs when it prompts you to.

I did. Lol, thanks for your help btw. I got the process down. Got the TiT to recognize 08, it prompted me for the discs. I inserted disc 1 like it said. It got through 20% of the installation process and then said that a file "data/bigend/stadiums.big" had a problem with it and gave me two possibilites: RETRY or Cancel Installation.

Of course I selected retry over and over. Nothing. Re-did the whole process, same thing happened. Please tell me this is the discs?

^ That includes the process of the TiT application.

Technically, since you legally own legitimate discs, you can have back-ups. If you don't know how to get those, PM me.
