Why Can't We Save Replays? (MVP2005)

...because I've had some amazing highlights in the last few days, and I'm kinda puzzled at why I can't save 'em.

Case in point: On a line drive, the ball made contact with my shortstop's face, bounced off, sailed upward into the air and back down into his mitt. The umpire called it an out. I literally watched it fifty times in Instant Replay mode...never seen anything that crazy in a game before. It's times like these I wish MVP on consoles allowed you to save replays.

I picked a 4-dollar used copy of MVP2005 up on Wednesday night for a refurbished Xbox I just bought and I'm honestly amazed at how well it holds up. Animations, especially, are one of MVP's biggest highlights. I'd even go out on a limb and say they're superior to 2K's and The Show's (except for cutscenes).

It would be nice, but it seemed like in that era the only sport games that were allowing replays to be saved was football. Hockey titles would have benefited as well. Our only recourse on the console is a dual video outport to a recording source. On PC, whatever recording program your machine will handle while the game is still running.
