    Question about MVP

Ok so I had MVP back in the day and throughly enjoyed it as it was the last baseball game I owned but I was never really into baseball quite as much as football/madden. After moving to Next Gen I haven't played MVP at all and this year and last year I have really begun following baseball a lot more and finally went out and got MLB 2k9. After finally playing the title for a month or so I couldn't get into it, I miss MVP. Its an ok game just feels like it was rushed out too early or something but since Im on 360 I cant play The Show and lately have been dying for a good baseball game like MVP. Im currently about to try and move some sliders around, something Ive never had to do in any game ever before, and see if I can make 2k9 into a solid game. I have my doubts about that though.

Basically my questions are, because I dont follow MVP like do/did Madden, why did they stop making it when its obvious sooo many people liked it? Has anyone heard of any plans for its future? And could some please point me in a direction where I can sign/start a petition to get them to make it for 360 asap?

    Thanks to any responses.

The MVP baseball series was stopped because 2k bought the 3rd party exclusive rights to make an MLB game. That's why we saw EA make two college baseball games after their MLB series ended. EA will not be able to make another baseball game until 2k's exclusive rights run out(which I'm not sure when that is). Also, if Electronic Arts makes another baseball game in the future, I wouldn't expect it to be a very solid baseball game it's first year, unless they work on it for 2 years before releasing it.

I agree it wouldn't be a good transition to next-gen right away. They should start on making a baseball engine now so they are top notch when they get a good chance.
