That will NEVER happen. Sony is not going to publish a 360 game as long as they are still in the console business.

I would love to see High Heat make a comeback.

That's kinda depressing. To me, MVP had the best baseball experience I've ever seen. I love their entire interface with trades, Minors, etc. The Show is a close 2nd, but MVP is still king to me.

Same here. Greatest pc baseball game ever bar none. I read somewhere MS sold the rights to that engine to UBISoft.

Absurd shenanigans. And would still be around if 2K wasn't sour EA gave 'em the long stroke by getting the NFL license.

Maybe a stupid idea, but, why not make a "The BIGS 3?" Their franchise and "Become A Legend" mode was always fun to play! The look of making baseball look like an arcade game wasn't my favorite part, but, it was a successful turnout in my opinion and would love to see an updated version by 2K and make a new one! If I remember clearly, I believe the two versions of "The Bigs" were released in July, so they could have updated rosters, and its June now so is there a slight possibility lol?

Not supposed to be a comparison thread. Title is about news that EA is not working on a baseball game. So all the Show and High Heat and how MVP is overhyped garbage talk can take it to the other 14,000 threads about the Show and 2 other threads about High Heat.

I think the hope was for EA to join the "sim" market and give some much needed competition. I guess the wait for the next console is on and the porting to the PC is questionable.

                      .
EA isn't working on a baseball game end of story, not really much to discuss.

Although I look forward to their next mediocre baseball product.

I enjoyed the MVP series, especially the NCAA baseball game they made. It wasn't the best simulation of the game but I had a lot of fun with it and I think it had some great ideas.

As much as I love The Show, I would definitely give a MVP game a shot if EA were to make another one in the future.

Ooof, C'mon guys these are just opinions, not facts.

Personally I think HH is the best ever baseball game, and find The Show to be vastly overrated.

On topic, I would love to have EA back in the game. More options the better

See, this is true ignorance right here. You can't say it's gonna be mediocre -- unless you can see into the future -- and in that case, PM me some winning Mega Millions numbers !

You're baiting that other guy so much right here. It's pathetic.

It's really going on their past performance in producing sports games. Not a difficult inference to make.
