Well there's your problem. Baseball isn't a homerun derby. Players don't go up to the plate every at-bat looking to hit a homerun. If you play REAL baseball you won't have that many homeruns.

They shouldn't even have holding up on the joystick to try to hit a home run in the first place... it feels just like pressing a contact/power button like in other games, which I hate.

They want you to have control of the game. Therefore, they put it in there. It does need a lil bit of tweaking but what game doesn't ? They expect you to play the game as if you were really in the game. They expect baseball fans to try and hit it the other way when a runner is on first with one out. They expect you to pull it down the line( if you're a lefty) with a runner on third.

I only get homers when i guess right or there is a mistake pitch down the pipe. but i have manny ramirez and if i always swing up he tends to pop out to right field. i think the hot zone is important as well. but i do have 28 at the all-star break.
