Okay.....that's not so bad then. I thought I might have been misunderstanding something. I likely won't be playing either this or 2k5 until next week, so I'm just reading everyone's impressions, and sometimes misinterpreting them. Carry on.

What you're saying is if someone argues a call in the first inning and gets tossed (even if there was a good reason to argue it) you can't put in a new pitcher or pinch hitter for the entire game? Does the CPU handle the changes itself or can your team not substitute PERIOD?

It sounds like an interesting feature (I'd love to see Dusty Baker charging out of the dugout to argue a call ), but if that's the risk/reward, then EA made a big mistake.
I thought it was little ridiculous at first and kind of pissed. But I say if I used the argue call feature it would be late in the game or when it matters the most. I have try using it in different situations and see whats the deely "o"...

What you must be waiting on MLB 2006 to come out. I will rent it myself.

No, it is part of the feature. If you argue a call at the right situation and not nessecarily (sp) get thrown out your team gets fired up (Gets an atribuette (sp) boost), but if you get thrown out you loose control.

The PC version is messed up in this feature.

So if you get Lloyd McClendon thrown out, will he take first base with him on the way out?

Nope.....I'm a PS2 user waiting for 2k5. But I will try them all - it's just that none of the games have come to my area Blockbuster yet.

Have to say though, that this wild pitch thing I'm hearing about is dampening my spirits already.

                          Re: Arguing Call

funny stupid thing I noticed, and it only happened in one game. I argued two calls, and each time my manager, Frank Robinson, came out with his jacket unzipped and I could see his nationals jersey. But when he came out for mound visits and pitching changes, he had his jacket zipped.

But then the next game I didn't see that trend. I think thats crazy though, if EA concentrated on stuff so little like the zipping and unzipping of the manager's jacket lol. Maybe it's even temperature based, if their is a little gust of wind, he's trying to keep warm so he zips up the jacket. lol, if they paid attention to that, that would be insane.
