    Chipper Jones

Has anyone else noticed that chippers vs. RHP and vs. LHP seem to be backwards? the game has him crushing left handed pitching, but he has never really been that good of a hitter from the right side. On the other hand he pretty much sucks vs. lefties, but chipper has always preferred hitting from the left side.

The game actually says that about him, that he prefers left handed. I dunno. I honestly hit better with him on the left hand side. Guess its just me lol

        Re: Chipper Jones

Most of the player ratings seem to be strongly based on last season's performance, instead of something like three-year averages. Chipper had a down year last season, including hitting worse against righties than lefties. In fact, because of one down year, his ratings look awfully mediocre.

wow, I wish I was getting that kind of power out of Chipper. I'm batting good with him at around .340 a month before the all-star break. But he only has 6 HR. He was out for a month with an injury though.

Chipper's actually a better hitter right-handed, at least for average.

About 6 weeks into my first season, he's hitting around .290 with 4 homers and 20-something RBI's....

Your Chipper must've trained with Jon Dowd in the offseason.

The real Chipper hits with more power from the left side.

That's why I said for average.
