Any good MVP sliders that allow the cpu to really score

I am the Reds and my team ERA is about 3.50. Waaaaaay too low. I play on MVP and my pitch meter difficulty is +20, and my pitch control is -20. Contact and power for the cpu are at default.

What would really help the cpu generate some more offense without me giving up 10 runs a game...........

Well for starters +20 on the pitch meter difficulty is making it easier, I have it down at -18 and it works well for me, my team era for the Devil Rays is around 4.10, probably a little low but nothing that is way out there in terms of reality. I also have my pitch control at -25 which again works fairly well for myself also. I suggest you look at Skyboxers or Ambers sliders and either go with one or the other or if you so choose go with a mixture of the two like I did.

these are not my sliders. They are the sliders that had the mixture of amber and skyboxer's that you were asking about. These are Pimping219's sliders. PM him for any questions. I was just posting them because I saw you were wondering what they were.

I commend you sir for not taking credit for these and thank you for posting them so quickly saving me the time of having to do so myself. I again, like always, must point out that these are a mixture of Skyboxers and Ambers sliders and they should be commended for all the hard work they did to come to the conclusions they did, I mearly looked them over and adjusted some things to my own liking.

Re: Any good MVP sliders that allow the cpu to really score

Uhhh ohh, does making this change (pitch meter difficulty) alter my sliders to no longer be my own?

Anyways, I figured making the pitch meter difficulty +20 would therefore make it harder, but thanks for the clarification. I'll move it to -20 or so.

I've played 220+ games on MVP level and I had my sliders pretty much set, but this one.

No problem, I currently use these settings for head to head games as well as exhibition games. Thanks for the tweaks you made because I too had been using Ambers and at one point had used Skyboxers.

There is a thread somewhere on this site that has the slider explanations telling you what each does and then it shows whether or not making the slider negative or positive has a certain production.

I think JamCadbury or something like that.

Im gonna post some MVP sliders soon. Ive been working for quite awhile on MVP level and I think (finally) they are at a level where you can have a very challenging, very realistic game. These are definately not easy though....pitch meter is at -45, pitch control at -37, CPU contact at 9 and CPU power at 5. Ill post whole set soon with some notes about them if anyone wants to try.

yes I found it at this link:
Not every critic is the same. Metacritic offers aggregated game reviews from the top critics, and our own METASCORE pinpoints at a glance how each game was reviewed.
