    Now we may be talking about a few inches but if you're nibbling the corners that can make a big differnce. I'm guessing the CPU tries to simulate the same thing.
    Thanks, Jistic. I tend to agree with your assessment. Thanks for the info.

      First of all, thanks for your work on the slider set. I've played a few games with them, and for the most part I have really enjoyed the type of game that they provide.

      With your CPU Pitcher Ball Rate at 17, it seemed like I was getting way too many walks (never thought I would say that after last year's game, lol), so I adjusted that slider to +7, and it seemed to be a bit better.

      Also, what's your reasoning behind setting the CPU's power and contact sliders down so much? I'm thinking the low contact setting helps with user strikeouts, but both of these down so low make the CPU's offense very weak. Playing as the Royals, I held the Angels to just three extra-base hits (three doubles) in a three-game series. I didn't give up any homeruns, despite facing the Angels' strong middle of the lineup with my fourth, fifth, and first starters (Gobble, Tankersley, and Greinke). I want to feel threatened when I face that kind of lineup, so is there any specific suggestions you would make for adjusting the CPU contact and power sliders?

      Thanks,
      Ryan
      I lowered pitch meter to -30 to make it easier for me. then i did the following;

      cpu contact = 10-12
      cpu power 0

      I was going to change these after playing 7-5 and 6-4 games. Then i pitched a shutout, 12 K game with Mulder. These sliders are more in line with Pared's. I use Jistic's hitting and Pared's CPU/pitching.

              I was hoping this weekend, but I have been super busy. So maybe early mid next week. I'm not that far away, just wanna test a tiny bit more.

                          I am in the same boat. I started my 3rd season (mostly simming one and two) and started the season with 2 home runs in 8 game (same guy). and he has 90 power. i have a rookie (top 100) with 70 power and i am guessing he will never hit a home run. there has to be a trick. holding up on the stick results in a pop up 90% of the time and seems inconsistent. I had a fast ball low and in and i do up and in and the still. ...line drive at the 3B. how many line drive outs can you hit?

                              Jistic,
                              I started a dynasty with the Twins where I play every game and use your V.2.1 sliders. I loved the sliders at first, and still do when it comes to batting. However, pitching has become too easy in my opinion.

                              Here are my stats after 27 games....19 W, 8 L, 120 RS, 80 RA, .292 BA, 18 HR, 23 SB, 2.83 ERA. I have a 4.5 game lead over Detroit at this point.

                              It seems like my batting stats are pretty good, though HR's are a bit low. The problem is my ERA. It's way too low.

                              I'm also starting to get really low pitch counts, especially with my better pitchers. Radke just threw a 81 pitch complete game and Santana just threw 76 pitches in 8.1 innings. I do have vibration turned on though, maybe I should turn it off?

                              I'm not expecting you to cater to my needs. I just thought you'd like some feedback from someone who's played MVP for the last couple years.

                              I appreciate your work on this stuff.
