    Variable Stuff

Does anyone know if the variable stuff setting makes players both better or worse? For example, we know that with variable stuff turned "on" a pitcher can have a bad day and not have as good a fastball or slider. Will it also work the other way and occationally make a player better than his ratings?

Good question, I dont know if EA actually explains this in the manual. I believe your theory may be correct. i assume Variable stuff adds to the overall randomness/realism of the game
