Picking a Baserunner Off at First

has anyone ever done it yet? If so, is there a slider(s) tweaking that must be done? I am always close, but can never get the son-of-a-gun at first.

I've done it once or twice. Think about it, how often does it happen irl? Not much. Make sure you are using the quick pickoff move and a pitcher with a high pickoff rating. Sliders shouldn't mean anything.

Yeah I picked off someone with Bob Wickman of the Indians once. That's the only time I've done it in about 25 games. What's funny is it looked like an easy call until I watched the replay... seemed to me the runner actually got his hand on the bag before the tag, but I wasn't gonna complain!

And I've picked off Ichiro a few times in scenario mode.

I have picked off a couple of people, you just got to mix it up show them the slow pickoff move and then get them on the quick pickoff later

It's L1 then the base on PS2. I don't know about anything else.

I've got two people on it. Matt Clement got Sheffield and Oliver Perez got Texeira. Clement has a 95 pickoff and I'm not sure if Perez has a high one, but it wouldn't surprise if he does, being a lefty and throwing absolute gas.

Seems like I get picked off a lot though if i take even one step. (auto get back) maybe its my baserunning sliders. who knows.
