    Slider numbers

    Just a quick question.

Does a positive number benefit the player's ability?
For instance, if I give my USER SPEED a +5, does that increase his running speed?

    Thanks for any input

If he could answer the question on his own, do you think he would have taken the time to create a new thread to ask it?

Yes, increasing the slider increases human running speed.

Sorry, hoping for a little common sense.

The reason I ask is because on some of sliders there is a negative number to make the player do better.
Like STEAL DELAY is to be set to -5 for the human...I take it this means he'll take off sooner.
But on the CPU, it's set to 0.

                Just kinda confusing is all

                    Re: Slider numbers

why is the steal delay to be set at -5?? All default is 0. I'm just saying, read the slider, then adjust accordingly. STEAL DELAY, do you want more delay, or less delay...positive numbers for more, or negative numbers for less. SPEED, positive numbers mean more speed, negative numbers mean less speed. That's what I meant by common sense.

Common sense would tell you that to up difficulty you would up the number, that isn't the case on certain sliders. Get my point?

It's also common sense to not try and prove a point unless you can get it correct.

Which slider are you talking about???

If its the pitching meter difficulty, many people mistake the word difficulty for the world difficult. However, the slider is asking how hard or easy do you want to make it. Thus, positive would seemingly be easier, while negative would be harder. Again, seems rather easy. But, thank goodness for forums to help each other out.
