    Infielder Speed

I have asked this in a couple other threads but have found no answer yet. I'm playing on all-star setting with wawasman's sliders. Before those I was useing Pared's. Does anybody have a resonable setting, or idea for CPU infielder speed that doesn't allow them to run down everything? Every other aspect of the game is going good for me except that. I'm getting tired of seeing second basemen and shortstops deep in the outfield to run down a ball and then end up catching it like 2 inches in front of the outfielder. Isn't that the outfielders job to play outfield. If anybody can help with this one tiny aspect I'll be truely happy, not that I'm not happy with the game now. This is one of the best baseball games in a long time. Thanks in advance for anyones help.

    Re: Infielder Speed

    I don't think it's possible.

I had it at -15 and the CPU infielders still ran into the deep outfield. I have it at -10 now and still the same thing.

I think the problem has less to do with the CPU INF speed and more to do with the outfielders not calling off the INF'ers or taking control. Problem with the programming IMO.

What I find annoying is when they run out and snag line drivs that should be hits. Ticks me off. I'd rather see the players leap for them instead of running into shallow left field.

I use -15. I don't mind about the pop ups so much but i judge it by the second baseman. I still get these guys going all the way into right field on a grounder or a superhuman play up the middle. roberto alomar (95 range) is a superstar on D in this game.

I use (-5) and that's been quite good, imo.

Thanks for the help guys...... I ended up lowering it to -15 and its better than it has been. The somewhat shallow pop files didnt bother me too much it was the deep flies and deep in the hole dives on lasers that made me more mad than anything. The -15 speed has help that some. I guess there is just nothing that can be done about every team having an all glod glove infield. Thanks again guys.

I have it at -10 but for me I noticed at -15 that the cpu had trouble turning DP's.

I'm not seeing that maybe cause I'm using the Brewers but my team is like a hitting into double play machine. I hit into at least 2 a game, other games more. I had one game where I had like 14 hits and didnt score a run cause of double plays.
