Anyone play with pitch indicator/strike zone OFF

In last year's games I had some sliders where I didn't use vibration, or pitch indicator, hot/cold zones, etc.

You just had to feel out the strike zone and hope you got the joystick in the right place. I felt liket it was pretty realistic.

Anyone play like this and have suggestions for adjusting sliders for this type of play? (e.g. increasing user pitcher control)

I play without vibration, strike zone or ball marker and the HOT/COLD set to fade. I love it....I can't claim to be an all-star at pitching under these conditions, but man is it fun.

I'm using Jistics latest slider set in conjunction with the above pitching call outs and the behind the pitcher view. Definatly alot of fun and a really good feel to the games.

I play this way as well (hot/cold zone fade).

I'm using Jistic's slider's as well. I didn't think I really needed to adjust sliders for this type of play. My pitching is actually the best part of my game even with the aids off. IMO the aids are a crutch and when you remove them it's difficult at first, but you get used to it and really don't need to make the sliders easier.

I play on MVP default with hitters eye off, hot/cold zones off, strike zone off. I have the ball marker set to fade so I can at least better paint the corners. The weird thing is, I actually make better contact with the ball with hitter's eye off than I do with it on.

I play on MVP difficulty with all aid's turned off, including vibration. I really enjoy it this way, by playing on MVP the computer can make you pay so you are more inclined to try the corners and with the right sliders you will also throw some walks which is also a nice addition for realism purposes.

I play with everything off, it seems clearer not having a box and colors in your face.

Everything but strike zone off. I can only get walks with the strike zone on.
