The game is sounding good. I have been let down too many times to get overly excited though.

Good to see Sega is going to bring back some old time stadiums. Polo Grounds being the one listed. Will add some old style flavor, hopefully we get some legends, and also be able to use the legends in Franchise mode (HINT HINT SEGA!!)

The countdown is on, even though it's still more than 4 months away. Wow this game will be so good, i have played WSB since the early genesis days since i dont have XBox.

I truly can't wait to have WSB 2k3, i loved WSB for XBOX. I had to get rid of it becuase it would get me the most money now than latter, but i will own next year's edition.

Where did you see that? I see the SEGA online stats thing, but no Live... maybe I didn't read it carefully enough.

FatPitcher, are you gonna have online play or just online updates and stats?

I dunno... I want to love WSB2k3 as much as the next guy, but those screens don't really look that different to me than what we saw last year. What Sega needs to work on, IMO, is the animations. Yeah, the behind the pitcher cam has me excited, if they do it well. But the jumping at the wall for robbing a homerun isn't exactly back of the box material. That would be like if a football game was just now, in 2002, adding play action passes. It's something that most companies have been doing for years.

I know I'll buy the game, but truthfully, I'm more excited about ASB this year. It had its flaws last year, but it has the least amount of ground to make up, IMO.

The game sounds good but isn't a little early for any announcements of baseball games? None of the other baseball games have announced anything. I'm not complaining it just seem a like this announcement came kind of early.

I can't wait for WSB 2K3. I loved WSB for the X-Box and the franchise mode was the best ever. With the ESPN license and some experience, I expect next year's game to be as good as NFL and NBA 2K3
