    Question

I must be missing something obvious... because I dont know how this can be possible...

How can a player's OBP be lower than his batting average?

I noticed for several games a few games ago that Robinson Cano's OBP was lower than his BA. He doesn't walk at all (he has maybe one walk) but how can this be possible. If you don't walk... wouldnt they just be the same then?

    Re: Question

Sac Fly counts as a plate appearance, but not an at bat.
