Has played mostly SS this season although he's seen action at CF and 3B. With his speed and arm strength I think he's better suited to play CF.
Very good. It's been suggested by many scouts that he stay in CF, although he is a fine shortstop. We all know how good his older brother, BJ is.. and Justin's supposed to be bigger and better.

      1. Justin Upton - Diamondbacks
      2. Alex Gordon - Royals
      3. Troy Tulowitzki - Mariners
      4. Ryan Zimmerman - Nationals
      5. Luke Hochevar - Brewers
      6. Ricky Romero - Blue Jays
      7. Mike Pelfrey - Rockies
      8. Wade Townsend - Devil Rays
      9. Craig Hansen - Mets
      10. Cameron Maybin - Tigers
      11. Andrew McCutchen - Pirates
      12. Ryan Braun - Reds
      13. Jeff Clement - Orioles
      14. Jay Bruce - Indians
      15. Chris Volstad - White Sox
      16. Brian Bogusevic - Marlins
      17. Cesar Carrillo - Yankees
      18. Mark Pawelek - Padres
      19. Matt Garza - Rangers
      20. Matt Torra - Cubs
      21. Jed Lowrie - A's
      22. John Mayberry Jr - Marlins
      23. Jacoby Ellsbury - Red Sox
      24. Tyler Greene - Astros
      25. Justin Bristow - Twins
      26. Taylor Teagarden Red Sox
      27. Bryan Morris - Braves
      28. Cliff Pennington - Cardinals
      29. Colby Rasmus - Marlins
      30. Trevor Crowe Cardinals

I think the best bargain pick in the first round is going to be Jeff Clement. He improved his D this season and he has amazing power for a catcher. Also controls the strike zone.
      I didn't do too bad.

      I got picks: 1,2,4,6,8,10,11, and 23.

I was pretty close on where a lot of other guys were selected too.

Of course Clement didn't end up being a bargain because he went 3rd overall.

I said before the draft I was worried JP would take Romero and that's what happened. He should have picked Maybin instead. The Jays lack hitting prospects. Because they picked so early this season they should have rolled the dice on Maybin and not go the safe route with Romero.

I know pitching is overpriced in the FA market but bats are hard to obtain through trades.
