    Ken Griffey Junior

We all know Griffey, he was the played we loved when we were younger. Now back in the day, hall of famer easily, but now with all the injuiries, what do you think? I think he should, he would have been one of the best CF ever to play the game if he never got hurt.

Of course, he has 500 homers, he was on his way to being an all time great, no contest in my opinion.

For a while Ken Griffey Jr. was one of the greatest ballplayers we had ever seen. Regardless of what he is doing now, for that fact alone he deserves a spot. Add the career stats he already has and is still adding to, and he's a lock for the hall.

Hmm.....One of the greatest hitters of the 90's.....10 gold gloves.

With health would've been arguably the greatest player ever.....ya.....I think he's in the hall of fame.

I think the biggest piece to the Griffey Jr. puzzle is the fact that all but one other player of the recent 500 HR members has been involved in the steroid controversy (McGwire, Sosa, Bonds).

That alone certifies that Junior and Palmeiro are two of the greatest players of this generation.

I not going to say he is a lock because of the way sports writers are. I think hes about as close as you can get though, the man was legendary when he was in his prime and he's got the numbers. Hes in for sure, no doubt

No debate he would have been in the hall before the injury years. In fact, he still has shown he can play at a very high level when he's healthy. Why is there a thread on this?

I still think he's a surefire lock for the Hall. His career numbers will still be amazing when he retires, even with all his injuries.

Lock...could put up the power numbers with the best of them in an offensive laden era plus he could play one of the most challenging positions in the field with the best of them.

I think there is a good posibility of that happening still. I would love to see that as well. He was my favorite player growing up. That swing is about as sweat as it gets.
