Not to be picky but Victor Martinez and Colon weren't drafted and Loften was drafted by the Astros.

oh your right about Lofton I knew that d'oh!.... Well signed and came up through farm system counts as well then.. as for new CF: Coco Crisp...

Edit for CL: Jose Mesa-as much as I hate him, he's still pretty darn good.

Gotta think the A's would be killer of not for Free Agency.

            Miggy, Chavez, Giambi? Damon?
The Big Three still going strong?

I'd probably go with the A's. Although the Dodgers would be pretty darn good as well.

Kind of gets confusing when trying to figure out if a player was drafted by a team or traded before he reached the big leagues.

Also, a great number of players come from overseas who are just signed and not drafted. ex: Zambrano.

                          Yeah, you're right.

I think of him as an A .... but that's not accurate at all.....

if teams had to keep drafted talent the Yankees would be in trouble next year, they'd have no one to trade to improve pitching in the off season

If you think about all the talent the Braves have cultivated and traded, they'd be pretty unstoppable right now too. Just add Jason Schmidt alone and we're talking. Take back Javy, Dye, Millwood, etc.
