Big Hurt just can't get over the injury bug.

It seems like he has taken over for Griffey as the new "Most Injury-Prone" player in the bigs.

He's been back in the league for I think almost a month now, and already he has 3 homeruns (in only a handful of games) but yet, it seems like each and everytime he has a good game (went 2-3 last time he played vs AZ) he gets a small injury that prevents him from being in the lineup the next day.

What do you think? Is Frank Thomas the new Griffey Jr?

Especially now that Griffey is doing pretty well for himself. I'm very happy for him.

Frank had a hip flexor and then a cramp in his back leg, only because he isn't quite in playing condition yet. Griffey Jr. about kills himself every year. So the answer is no.

I'm going to say no, because Frank Thomas only hurts himself for a game or so. When Griffey gets hurt, he goes all the way and misses months at a time.

Isn’t Griffey’s hamstrings attached onto his bones with screws? Pretty amazing that he is still playing like that.
