Everett is a nut case, but this won't get the airplay of Rocker for obvious reasons.


The only thing I agree with him on is the first comment although that may be a little ignorant on my point.

And the congressional hearing comment is understandable

The gay comment is the stupidest thing he said but that's a whole other story.

Everett doesn't believe in Dinasaurs or we walked on the moon. Sorry I agree with the gay comment, and yes I'm a conservative baptist and yes I know it may be idiotic on that point but its what I believe. Sorry.

I think it was actually Dan Shaugnessy who gave him that nickname after Carl made some comments about how he didn't believe in Dinosaurs.

"God created the sun, the stars, the heavens and the earth, and then made Adam and Eve," Everett said last Friday, before the Red Sox lost two of three in Atlanta. "The Bible never says anything about dinosaurs. You can't say there were dinosaurs when you never saw them. Someone actually saw Adam and Eve. No one ever saw a Tyrannosaurus rex. You can't prove dinosaurs ever existed. I feel it's far-fetched."

I like the refer to him simply as "Crazy Carl"

Actually Everett isn't being ignorant on the gay thing. The article said he's accepted them but he also gave his personal opinion on homosexuality. It would be far worse if he said that and gave gay teamates a hard time.

The comment that upsets me just a little is the one about how 99% of fans don't know anything. Hmm, sure say that to STL Cardinals fans or the sabermetric nerds out there. As for me I don't claim to know everything about baseball but I think i'm pretty educated about the game itself.

I wasn't saying that he was ignorant about his gay comments, just feel that it shouldn't matter at all about gay or not.
