    First half overlooked performers...

Batting .373 with OPS of .905(?!?!)

This guy was AWESOME for the Cubs a couple of years ago, they were certainly, I think, a more explosive team with him in CF while Patterson was injured. I was disappointed when they did not try to keep him...It would be nice to see if the Cubs could talk Philladelphia out of Lofton, might not be hard...Maybe Patterson or Dubois for Lofton, et al....

Also, congrats to Scott Podsednik for stealing 35 bases before the break.

    Feel free to add others...

Woops, sh*t, I forgot to mention that I was talking about LOFTON...I did have his name in the subject line, but changed it...sorry. I am stupid

          I don't see many channels or people talking about B.J. Ryan. 18 saves, 1.72 ERA, 56 K...

Felipe Lopez. Leads NL SS in AVG, HR, and RBI, as well as has the fewest errors.

*Actually, I'm not 100% certain of that. But I am 100% certain that he has better stats in those categories then David Eckstein and Cesar Izturis, who are the Top 2 NL SS vote getters.

Jason Johnson. He has a 3.39 ERA and has gone at least 6.2 innings in 13 of 16 starts and even had a stretch of 5 starts where he went 8 innings. He's queitly been a quality pitcher for Detroit ever since they picked him up.

Carlos Silva. He has pitched atleast 6 innings in every start and has a era under 3.50. He doesn't strike many batters out but he has only given up 4 or 5 walks.
