Matt Clement really deserved to be on this team but probably lost his bid in his last few starts. Before he got hit up this past week, he was almost a lock.

Re: Official all star selection show thread
I agree with this 100%... of course I'm biased towards the Tribe but add in Hafner's 14 homers and he deserves to go.
From Rotoworld.com
Shea Hillenbrand joined teammate Roy Halladay on the AL All-Star squad announced tonight.
Excuse the rant, but what a sick, disgusting, horrible joke. Hillenbrand is batting .304/.364/.447 with 37 RBI in 82 games. Travis Hafner -- the player who finished second in the AL in OPS this year -- is at .303/.410/.547 with 51 RBI and he didn't make the team. Every American League manager, player and anyone else who might have voted should be fired immediately. Jul. 3 - 7:49 pm ethttp://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: Official all star selection show thread
It's a shame how the fans voted in Rolen who played only 43 games thus far and is averaging .250 along with 5HR. Where as.. Ensberg has played 79 games averaging .287 along with 22HR.
I'm also going to say Omar Vizquel > Eckstein/Izturis.I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can'tComment

I don't really agree with Hillenbrand being on the team but as a Jays fan i'll just silently cheer
I hope Felipe Lopez or Izturis makes it but they're not big names sooo.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I see the geek patrol over at Rotoworld really brought out their claws this evening. Meeoooooow.
I think it's hilarious how they literally despise any non-sabermetric friendly player like Hillenbrand.Comment
