    VOTE FOR PODSEDNIK!!!

    He may be the MAIN reason for the Sox success this year. Hes got a league leading 40 SBs and he elads by more then 10 SBs in that stat, he may be the Sox MVP right now. I know Jeter is the 'face of baseball' but this guy deserves it soo much! So please, VOTE for podsednik

      Jeter is ahead in just about every offensive category besides SB's. So is Matsui.

      Good player, but there are more deserving players.

              Don't ask me why, but I hope to God it is Jeter. They had a good point on PTI or Around the Horn today (can't remember which one). If Jordan was having an off-year, would he still be in the NBA All-Star game.......of course.

              I'm not a Yankee fan or a Jeter fan, but there is no denying the guy is a winner and he epitomizes how the game of baseball should be played.

                  I can't believe they compared Jeter to Michael Jordan... wow.

                  Jeter has been getting into the All-Star name, despite having sub-par numbers to other All-Stars. After the 1999 season, other SS have had better numbers, but he continues to get in.

                  Is Jeter an amazing player? Yes. But, there are more deserving players.

                          It's an exhibition. There's something to be said for having a player there for reasons other than inflated statistics.

                          Jeter statistics have never really been so bad as to his selection being totally unwarranted.

                              I'll probably vote Posednik because since the game counts, he'd be great to come in as a pinch runner. That and the fact that there is no way I could vote for a Yankee.

                                  With the face of baseball and the son of a country on the ballot, a vote for Podsednik is effectively a vote for Ralph Nader...in political terms.

                                      Why wouldnt you vote for a guy like podsednik just because of SBs? they can use him for pinch running, for SS, they already have 2 better SS so jeteer wont even play more then 1 inning or 1 AB, atleast podsednik can use his speed late in trhe game
