You can always rely on Cowboy Joe West to call inconsistent balls and strikes. The guy has been piss poor tonight, as usual. Pitches right over the heart of the plate are called balls, and pitches up and away strikes.
I have no idea how MLB allows this asshat to ump major spotlight games such as this one and critical post season ones.

Anybody remember this tub of goo in the first Naked Gun? He was one of the umps who was arguing with "Enrico Palazzo" during the 7th inning stretch.
