He is a very large man, but I guess it's starting to effect his performance. He had a pretty poor year with the Mets this season. Although I think the injury that made him miss all of the 2001 season(torn bicep, I think) is still nagging him.

Big Mo hasn't been the same since he left Boston. It is unbelievable how far he has fallen. He used to be one of the premier first basemen in the league. Now he might get is contract terminated. Come on Mo', it's about time to hang em up. -

he still a respectable hitter. 26 home runs isn't great considering how bad he was doing, and he still ended up with 26 homers its pretty impressive. He defense has fallen so much because weight, he is now a huge liability at first.Comment
