Big Hurt once again...HURT for the entire season.

Yes, his foot once again gives him the rest of the year off. It sucks because he was doing really well. His average wasnt all there, but his power was.

I guess that means the White Sox maybe looking to deal for a middlehitter...

Time for KW to get on the phone and see if Jim Thome is still available.

why on earth would Kenny williams deal for Thome. First off the Sox are not going to pay that contract. Secondly if he can't hit dingers in Philly how is he going to hit homers anywhere. Thirdly he is also hampered by injuries. So the sox would target someone like Aubrey Huff who can play multiple positions and is a left handed stick.

I also look at as kind of a blessing because that basiclly means the sox will buy out his contract next year, which will clear 10 million roughly in salary to go get some pitching or resign Garland.

My bad. Your right. Thome is on 15-day DL.

Huff would be a great addition. Trading with Tampa is never easy though.

Yeah definately not Jim Thome. HE might be injured as often as Griffey/Thomas.

Huff would be a good deal, but hes lost a step or two since his previous years. Hopefully a new team will break him out.

If for some reason we do deal for Burnett and Lowell, we can use Lowell as a 1B/DH. This can give Konerko some time off from playing First. I highly doubt this will happen, but I can see a trade happening

I don't see the White Sox trading for an impact bat simply because Carl Everett as done a good job filling in at DH all season. I could however, see them getting some help for the bench since they get zero production off the bench.

Frank, just retire already. Seriously. It's a shame to see such a great career ruined by injuries at the end.

How about go after Manny Ramirez or Alfonso Soriano? Aubrey Huff isnt even that good...they probably want McCarthy and one of our 2 OFers lol no, that better not happen...The only way I owuldnt mind getting Huff is if we get Baez(who im not to high on) and we trade McCarthy, one of our good prospect OFers, and whoever, I dont no, our system kinda sucks

I still hope they go after Wagner. Everyone knows hes unhappy there, and I wouldnt mind having another good Lefty to close.

Sounds like a great staff to me.

i was just thinking. We should go after Adam Dunn instead. Put Podsednik and his horrible arm @ DH...or Play Dunn @ 1B, Paulee @ DH, but i like Paulees defense this year so IDK, I would love to have Dunn Griffey Mo Pena or Kearns...

Rumors are flying that the Big Hurt is gonig to retire, because it sounds like the White Sox aren't picking up his option for next year.

                            Manny = NO!

He will just ruin our chemistry with all his whinning. Let him stay with the redsox and bitch.

Soriano = Would love his bat, but we already have a solid 2B in Iguchi. Along with Willie Harris. I wouldnt mind trading for Soriano, then trading Soriano to the Phillies for Wagner and Ryan Howard.

And yes most likely Frank will retire this year. Apperantly hes in alot of pain, and its 99.9% that the Sox will NOT pick up his option.

If you think Tampa Bay is hard to deal with, The Reds will probably want half our staff for this guy. This guy has a lot of potential, well hes good right now too.. but the Reds will probably ask for too much, maybe 3 prospects and Carl Everett.
