I just wish someone would come out and say "Yes, I'm guilty. I stuck a needle in my butt (or swallowed a ton of pills) and now I got caught. I tried to cheat the system and I was wrong. I apologize to my teammates and fans, I'll serve my 10 game suspension and then move on. Thanks.".

BWHAHAHAHAHA Ryan Franklin?! Steriods?! You've got to be kidding me...i'm one of the biggest M's fans out there and i can't believe it. Well it certainly hasn't helped Franklin here the last couple years, he's pitched decent of late but overall i think he's garbage. Good riddance, i hope the M's just cut him.

Well, his timing couldn't have been any better. With Raffy getting busted nobody cares about him.

Franklin said he has "no idea" how he tested positive.

"There's got to be a flaw in the system," he said Tuesday before the Mariners played the Tigers at Comerica Park. "I have no clue. I tested in [early] May and again three weeks later. The first was positive, the second was negative."

"I'm one of the guys who was supportive of strong testing," Franklin said. "I believe I got to the big leagues on God-given talent, and that's how I've stayed here. It's hard to swallow."

"I know deep in my heart that I have never done anything like that."
