Even if that is true, that doesn't give you the right to call out teammates in the media, especially when they have done nothing to deserve it. Sheffield talks about the chemistry not being good, and then he creates more problems by doing that.

Well good news for Yanks fans... on WFAN they said before that Sheffield talked to Jeter and called A-Rod right after the comments were released by the media and Gary promised them that he never said any of those things. Now he told Sweeny Murty that he will not talk to another member of the media for the rest of the season because he said they made the whole thing up. A-Rod called in today saying he talked to Sheff and everything was cool with him A-Rod and Jeter and no one has any problems.


Don't know if this is just a front... but problems in the clubhouse is the last thing this team needs right now so I hope everything actually is alright.

Thats just Gary talking out of his @$$ like always. He said something stupid in an interview, as always, and he got called out on it. Im not a Yankee fan, nor do I play one on these forums like others do but one thing I know, you don't criticize Jeter in the media or air dirty laundry about contract negotiations. Sounds to me like the Yankees need an enforcer in that clubhouse.
