Mets Outfielders collide into one another.
I was watching the game on tv when Beltran and Cameron both dove for the ball when they collided. It looked really bad and I hope both of them get better as soon as possible.Life is a gamble and death's like a roll of dice.
So before you shake em and throw, know the price.

That was scary to watch. They dove headfirst right into each other. Uggghh
I believe Cameron's still in the hospital tonite. He broke his nose, has a slight consusion and broke both his cheekbones. Hope he has a full and speedy recovery -

That was a brutal collision, head-to-head. Cameron definitely took the worst of it... good luck to both of them.Comment

Re: Mets Outfielders collide into one another.
So much was made about the fact that Cameron, a natural center-fielder and probably one of the top 5 in the game, was moved to right to accomodate Beltran, also a great centerfielder, when Beltran was signed... there was talk about how much of an advantage it would be for the Mets with two centerfielders... and now this... both guys went for the ball like they have their entire careers...
I remember as a kid watching the Mets when Lenny Dykstra and Mookie Wilson, also two natural centerfielders collided face to face on a ball hit in the alley way, but this was 10 times worse.
I hope Mike recovers fully and Omar Minyana finally trades him to a team where he can play center again.Comment
