Randy Winn hit for the cycle... it's the 6th inning!

Randy Winn, SF Giant recently acquired from the Mariners, has been a terrific asset for the ballclub, especially at the leadoff spot.

So far, on this roadstand (since we got him), he's had 3 home runs, and today he just hit for the cycle. Just so you guys know, it's only the 6th inning.

Maybe he'll go for two cycles? Great job Winn1

He's a really streaky player, but by the end of the year his numbers always even out.

He's solid, but he'll come down to earth.

    That's crazy though.

Pretty amazing feat to hit for the cycle this early in a game.

I've always liked Winn. He's always struck me as a throwback type player. Might not be the most talented, but he grinds it out and gives it his all everyday.

How many cycles have there been this year?
I know there's a couple and more than I have seen in past years.

Not sure how many but I was at the game when Mark Grudzielanek hit his earlier this year.

This was the 3rd cycle of the year. The others were St. Louis' Mark Grudzielanek (4/27 vs. Milwaukee) and Washington's Brad Wilkerson (4/6 vs. Philadelphia).

I wish the Yankees had gotten him at the deadline. He's a very solid player.

I've always liked him, even though he's definitely not a superstar.

Congrats to him on hitting for the cycle.. impressive stuff.

Pedro Feliz and Deivi Cruz were both legs short of the cycle today. Impressive stuff by the Giants at Great American Ballpark.
